TROUBLESHOOTING
This could be for several different reasons.
- No power supply to the unit - Please attempt to reset the GFCI. To review proper electrical connections for the unit, reference SUITMATE 230 Volt Installation Guide.
- Micro Switch misalignment - For problem solving, please reference SUITMATE 230 Volt Troubleshooting Guide or watch our 230 Volt Micro Switch adjustment video.
- Faulty Timer - Please reference SUITMATE 230 Volt Troubleshooting Guide or watch our 230 Volt Timer Replacement video.
- If the unit only hums when you depress the Lid, the problem could be a loose wire or an obstruction within the unit. Remove any foreign objects from the interior of the unit and remove the end cap from the bottom of the motor to visually inspect the motor components for damage and frayed or broken wires. - If the unit hums as soon as power is engaged and before the Lid is depressed, the problem could be a faulty timer or an over-adjustment on the Micro Switch. For problem solving, please reference the SUITMATE 230 Volt Troubleshooting Guide.
The SUITMATE unit should be connected to a 230 V, 60 Hz, 20 Amp dedicated circuit. Verify all wires are securely connected to the GFCI and inspect unit for signs of an electrical short. For further information please reference the SUITMATE 230 Volt Troubleshooting Guide.

The SUITMATE unit requires a hard-wired electrical connection and a drainage set-up. Please visit our Resources page for additional technical information, detailed installation instructions and an installation video.
The SUITMATE unit's drain opening is on the underside of the unit. Each unit ships with a short drain hose connected to that opening which can either be routed to your facility's waste line via a standard P-Trap connection or routed down to a floor drain.
